Larkfleet group Focuses On Business In Peterborough

Sustainable housebuilder and developer Larkfleet Group (www.larkfleetgroup.co.uk) will again be exhibiting at Peterborough’s premier business-to-business event – Business Focus (www.businessfocus.uk.net). Organised by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, the event will take place at the Peterborough Arena at The Showground on Wednesday 16 October.

Last year the group built a single-storey timber-framed house– which formed the centrepiece of Business Focus – in just two days. It demonstrated both the speed and ease with which timber-framed housing can be erected and the wide range of energy-saving technologies which the group can apply to these homes.

This year the group’s focus will be on renewable energy solutions, the Green Deal and sustainability. Within and around the stand, Larkfleet Group companies and partners will demonstrate the contribution they can make to maximising the sustainability of businesses in Peterborough and the eastern region.

Ian Greenfield, operations director at Larkfleet’s renewable building products merchant Eco Building Products, said: “The technologies we will demonstrate at the exhibition are among the most cost-effective available for businesses. They can help businesses save money which will have a positive effect on their bottom lines.

“Technologies include energy-saving lighting solutions and photovoltaic power generation. In addition there will be a Renault Zoe electric car and an electric vehicle charging point for those thinking of saving on petrol, plus innovations to stretch the imagination and change the way most of us think about day-to-day energy and fuel consumption.”

Visitors to the stand will be able to sign up for free commercial lighting surveys and Green Deal surveys and hear advice on financing for energy-saving measures.

In addition to Eco Building Products, Larkfleet Group companies taking part in the Business Focus exhibition will include:

• Larkfleet Renewables which offers social housing providers, private landlords and homeowners a one stop shop for both Green Deal and ECO funded energy saving measures in housing and commercial buildings.
• Lark Energy which develops and installs a range of renewable energy solutions. Lark Energy specialises in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems ranging from large-scale solar farms to on-roof commercial systems and multi-roof housing projects.
• Larkfleet Homes which designs and builds energy-efficient housing for both the private market and social landlords.
