Larkfleet Gives Oakham Homebuyers the Chance to Add a Hot Tub

Larkfleet Homes has teamed up with Posh Spas, a supplier of luxury hot tubs and swim spas, to offer buyers at its Leighfield Park development in Oakham their very own hot tub as an added extra with their home purchase.

Great British Olympian Louis Smith MBE, supports Peterborough-based Posh Spas in its promotional work and has had his very own hot tub, similar to the variety on offer to Leighfield Park homebuyers, installed in the garden of his Cambridgeshire home.

Louis said: 'There is no better way to relax.'

Posh Spas will soon supply a four-seat hot tub for homebuyers to view in the garden of one of Larkfleet's three show homes at Leighfield Park. Another 5-6 seat hot tub also will soon be installed on site, allowing potential homebuyers to see two varieties of hot tubs in operation and perhaps envisage one in the garden of their new property.

Homebuyers who purchase a hot tub from Posh Spas as an extra with their Leighfield Park property will benefit from an exclusive price deal. The tubs available at Leighfield Park have also been exclusively designed for Larkfleet, so the particular designs on offer will not be on sale to the general public.

Larkfleet's Leighfield Park development in Oakham is the first phase of Oakham Heights, Larkfleet's major urban expansion of Oakham.

Leighfield Park is located on land between the Oakham bypass and Barleythorpe Road and offers traditionally-styled two, three, four and five-bedroom properties.

The development is aimed at families looking for a stylish, traditional home that allows them to enjoy rural life while still benefiting from good transport links to surrounding towns and cities.

All 143 properties at Leighfield Park will have solar PV (photovoltaic) panels fitted as standard so homebuyers can benefit from reduced energy bills. The PV panels will produce electricity from daylight, generating useable power even on cloudy days. Larkfleet can also provide allotments for residents and an electric car charging point is available on site for resident use.

Larkfleet managing director Karl Hick said: 'At Leighfield Park, we are keen to stand out from the crowd and offer that little bit extra for our homebuyers. This exclusive deal with Posh Spas allows us to offer homebuyers a little garden luxury, something that ties in well with the high quality of our properties on the site. We are also very pleased to support Posh Spas as another local company, like Larkfleet, that prioritises high quality products and excellent customer service.'

The government's Help to Buy scheme is available at Leighfield Park so homebuyers could potentially own 100 per cent of a new home with just a 75 per cent mortgage and 5 per cent deposit.

With the new scheme, after homebuyers have provided a five per cent deposit and obtained a conventional mortgage for just 75 per cent of the purchase price, they will receive an equity loan from the government for the remaining 20 per cent (subject to approval). The equity loan is interest free for five years and can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the home.
