Larkfleet has appointed David Richardson as financial director. His new role will cover all of the Larkfleet businesses and comes at a time when the company is expanding rapidly into new geographical areas and new technologies.
Before taking up his new post David was finance director for Persimmon plc, covering the Midlands and East Midlands trading divisions. He also spent time as head of financial control with Thomas Cook Retail.
Larkfleet has recently announced it has established two new housebuilding companies which will extend operations across England, from Cornwall in the west to Norfolk in the east.
Larkfleet Homes South West Ltd will develop primarily in Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset. Larkfleet Homes Suffolk and Norfolk Ltd will develop homes in England’s eastern-most counties.
These new companies add to the further expansion of the business following the launch last year of Allison Homes which is working alongside Larkfleet Homes across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Rutland.
David’s new role will be to oversee the financial management of the company as it undertakes this next exciting stage of its development.
Larkfleet CEO Karl Hick said: “I am delighted that David is joining us as group finance director. He has considerable financial experience in the property and housebuilding sectors and he will therefore be a valuable asset to Larkfleet as we continue to further develop and grow the business.”
